Availability or injury reports are now required for conference games in many of the major power conferences, including the ACC. Miami released theirs earlier this week, and two names were absent from the initial report, two names the Hurricanes are hoping to get back this week.

Both running back Jordan Lyle and wide receiver JoJo Trader were not on Miami's first report this week. Neither player has played for the Hurricanes since the matchup against Notre Dame to start the season. Lyle had just five carries for 11 yards, and Trader played just nine targets but did have a target or a reception.

Lyle has been dealing with an ankle injury, while Trader's injury has been undisclosed since he went out against Notre Dame in the first game of the season.

While not having these two on the field has not been ideal, it has shown that Miami truly has depth at the position. Mark Fletcher has come in and done a great job with Miami's run game, helping them reach their undefeated start so far this season.

Fletcher, so far this season, has 388 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns, but hasn't been too active in the passing game with just four receptions for 45 yards and no touchdowns. When Flecter entered the game for Lyle against Notre Dame, he finished with 15 carries for 66 yards, which was great, especially when trying to eat clock at the end. Fletcher is currently leading all rushers for Miami.

Malachi Toney has been great for Miami as well as the leading receiver so far with 268 receiving yards and one touchdown so far this season. He is currently averaging 12.2 yards per catch and has been a reliable target for quarterback Carson BEck.

It is unclear how much Lyle and Trader will be used now that they are back in full capacity, but the added depth doesn't hurt.
