Biggest Disappointment: RB Damien Martinez

This should come as no surprise. Martinez has simply not lived up to expectations, averaging 4.4 yards per carry through six games after being one of the best running backs in the country over the past two years. He has the lowest yards per carry of any running back on the team.

To put Martinez's disappointing season into even further context, he has twice the number of carries as Jordan Lyle (66 to 33) but only 53 more yards. He has one touchdown over two yards and is on pace for less than 600 rushing yards at the end of the regular season.

It's fine if Martinez isn't receiving the number of carries that he did at Oregon State, but his efficiency is not where it needs to be if he's going to remain the starter at running back.
