Miami football on commitment watch for 4-Star OL Sean Tatum

Fort Pierce, Florida, John Carroll Catholic four-star offensive lineman Sean Tatum is set to announce his college commitment Friday at 3 p.m. ET, with Auburn, Florida, Miami and Tennessee still in the mix.

Tatum is one of the more coveted offensive line prospects in the 2027 cycle, and landing him would be another big win in the trenches for Miami.

Tatum is an All-American and one of the top interior offensive line prospects in the country. 247Sports ranks him No. 232 overall in the 2027 class, No. 13 among interior offensive linemen and No. 23 in Florida.

Tatum spent his junior season at left tackle for a John Carroll team that reached Florida's 4A playoffs, while also showing some defensive versatility.

The Hurricanes have been trending in the right direction for Tatum over the last two weeks. On April 2, Tatum named Miami his leader after a weekend visit. But, Florida has made a late push, and Tennessee and Auburn have also stayed alive to make the final four.
