The Miami women's basketball program earned its second transfer commitment this spring from Israeli national and Quinnipac guard Gal Raviv. Miami previously received a commitment from Italian national Vittoria Blasigh, who is transferring from South Florida.
Miami was 14-15 overall and 4-14 in the ACC in its first season under Tricia Cullop in 2024-25. Guard Lemyah Hylton, who transferred to Texas A&M per On3. Miami freshmen Aurora Almon and Leah Harmon also entered the transfer portal after signing with Miami when Katie Meier was still the head coach.
Raviv led Quinnipiac scoring 17.9 points per game, 5.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists and averaged 1.4 steals in 2024-25. Raviv shot 44.8 percent from the field, 31.1 percent on three-point attempts and 74.8 percent from the free throw line with an eFG percentage of 48.7.
Quinnipiac signed Raviv out of Bella Vista College Prep in Arizona. Raviv led Team Israel, averaging 17.3 PPG and 4.7 APG in the FIBA U18 Eurobasket in Porto, Portugal. Raviv is a 5'8 point guard whose all-around game should allow her to start for the graduated Haley Cavinder, who earned second-team All-ACC in 2024-25.

The 5-9 freshman averaged 17.9 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 4.3 apg and 1.3 spg this season.

Cavinder led Miami, averaging 18.2 PPG and 4.7 APG, was second with 6.5 RPG while shooting 46.2 percent from the field, 31.3 percent on three-point shots and 80.0 percent on free throws. Cavinder's twin sister Hanna, who was second on Miami with 122 assists, was among the other Hurricanes who have completed their eligibility.
Seven Miami players completed their eligibility after the 2024-25 season. Cullop signed the 12th-ranked 2025 class with five players in the ESPN top 100. The additions of Blasigh who is entering her junior year and Raviv who will be a sophomore in 2025-26 provide Cullop with an excellent foundation for the future.
Raviv was one of the best freshmen nationally in 2024-25 by earning the Mid-American Athletic Conference Rookie and Player of the Year. Blasigh and Raviv join a Miami roster that has frequently included international players in recent seasons.
