4-star OT Jimmy Kalis includes Miami in final six schools
Kalis, a 6-foot-8, 280-pound tackle, is ranked in the national top 200 by multiple services. On3 lists him as the No. 183 prospect nationally and the No. 16 offensive tackle, while 247Sports has him at No. 195 overall and No. 21 at the position.
Each of Kalis' finalists can offer an appeal based on what he has emphasized in his recruitment.
Ohio State had three offensive linemen drafted in 2023, including Paris Johnson Jr. as the No. 6 overall pick. The Buckeyes also have recent playoff hardware to point to, including the 2024 national title.
Georgia finished 12-2 in 2025 and ended No. 6 in the final AP poll. On the development side, Georgia tackle Amarius Mims went No. 18 overall in the 2024 NFL draft.
Texas went 10-3 in 2025 and finished No. 12 in the final AP poll after a 13-3 season in 2024 that ended No. 4. Tackle Christian Jones was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the fifth round in 2024.
Even with a dip in the 2025 win column, the Tigers can still point to elite offensive lineman: Will Campbell (first round, No. 4 overall) and Emery Jones Jr. (third round).
Clemson went 10-4 in 2024 and finished No. 14 in the final AP poll. OL Jordan McFadden was drafted by the Chargers in 2023.
Miami played for the national championship after a 13-3 season that ended No. 2 in the final AP poll. Jalen Rivers was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2025.
