Miami has a big weekend hosting 2026 offensive skill position players that includes a five-star local wide receiver.

Miami has a big weekend hosting offensive skill position players. Five-star Miami Northwestern wide receiver Calvin Russell, four-star prospects running back Joe Lamar, WR Zion Robinson and tight end Israel Biggs and three-star WR Tyran Evans.

Russell is one of the biggest names Miami will host for an official visit this month. The highest rating for Russell is from 247Sports, which has him as the 21st prospect, third WR and second player in Florida in the 2026 class. Florida, LSU and Oregon previously hosted Russell for an official visit and Florida State is next weekend.

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine projects Miami as the leader with a 32.3 percent chance for a commitment from Russell. Florida is second at 15.9 percent, followed by Oregon at 13.6 percent and Florida State and LSU at 13.9 percent. Miami will attempt to end the trend of five-star WRs leaving Florida.

With Miami RB commit Javian Mallory taking an official visit to Alabama this weekend, Lamar could become an important prospect for Miami. Lamar is the 107th prospect, eighth RB and 12th player in Georgia out of Moultrie, Colquitt County, in the 2026 class. Georgia is projected with a 79.5 percent chance for a Lamar commit.

Robinson is the 132nd prospect, 18th WR and 19th player in Texas from Mansfield in the 2026 class. Michigan and Texas Tech have previously hosted Robinson for official visits. Stanford is scheduled to host Robinson for an official visit next weekend. The recruitment for Robinson is wide open per the RPM.

Briggs is the 143rd prospect, seventh TE and 17th player in California out of Visalia, Redwood. Arizona State is listed as the favorite for a commitment from Briggs at 59.3 percent in the RPM, with Miami second at 39.8 percent. Briggs has taken official visits to ASU, Cal and LSU, with Texas A&M next weekend.

Evans is a Tennessee commit who is the 500th prospect, 80th WR and 23rd player in North Carolina out of Cornelius, Hough. Kentucky and North Carolina State have both previously hosted Evans for official visits. Evans is scheduled to take his official visit to Tennessee next weekend.

Miami is hosting 11 players total this weekend. Offensive tackle J.J. Sparks and interior offensive lineman Rhys Woodrow, who are committed to Miami, will join four defensive prospects and the five offensive skill position players on their official visits to Coral Gables this weekend.
