Miami will host Duke for a three-game series beginning on Friday night. Miami enters the series with Duke with a 14-4 win at Pittsburgh on Sunday and an 11-1 win over Bethune-Cookman on Wednesday. Duke travels to Miami after a 3-2 win over William and Mary on Tuesday and 10-7 over Campbell on Wednesday.
The win over William and Mary went 12 innings and Duke needed a walk-off grand slam to earn the victory over Campbell. Miami won its first ACC series this season last weekend at Pittsburgh. Duke lost two out of three at North Carolina last weekend. Duke is 23-12 overall and 8-7 in the ACC, tied with UNC for eighth place.
Miami enters the weekend 18-16 overall and 4-8 and tied for 13th place with Pittsburgh. Duke won all four games versus Miami last season. The Blue Devils swept a three-game series in Durham in April and then beat the Hurricanes in the ACC Tournament. Miami won two out of three in Coral Gables and beat Duke in the 2023 ACC Tournament.
Griffin Hugus has earned his way to the top of the Miami rotation with a 4-3 record and with a 3.45 earned run average that is 12th in the ACC. Duke closer Reid Easterly is 3-1 with four saves, is second in the ACC with four saves and fifth in the conference with a 2.45 ERA.

Duke at Miami All-Time Series
Miami leads the all-time series with Duke 45-18, but as previously mentioned, the Blue Devils won all four games in 2024. All of the games except for the first four in the series have been since Miami joined the ACC. Duke beat Miami 3-1 and 5-4 in 1967 and the Hurricanes won 3-0 and 8-4 in 1968, with all four games in Coral Gables.
