Four former Miami Hurricanes made opening-night NBA rosters, but only Kyshawn George has recorded regular-season minutes so far. Jordan Miller is recovering from surgery, Tre Donaldson and Ernest Udeh Jr. have two-way contracts, and three other former Hurricanes were released during training camp (one of those players has already signed overseas).

Kyshawn George | Washington Wizards

George has started both of Washington's games and through two games he is averaging 14.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals on 43.5% shooting.

On Oct. 21 against Milwaukee, George scored 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting in a 128-116 victory, adding five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 29 minutes.

On Oct. 23 against Toronto, he finished with 11 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals in a 112-102 loss, shooting 2-of-9 from the floor and committing a career-high eight turnovers.

In the preseason, George appeared in four games and averaged 15.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 61.5% from three. His best outing was 21 points on seven field-goal attempts against Brooklyn on Oct. 12.

Last season he averaged 14.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 48 starts.

Jordan Miller | Los Angeles Clippers

Miller agreed to a three-year, $15.3 million contract with the Clippers in July, with only the first season guaranteed. On Aug. 26 he underwent surgery to repair a torn left rotator cuff suffered during an offseason workout. The Clippers said he would be reevaluated in six months, approximately February 2027.

Last season, Miller played 60 games and averaged 10.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists while shooting 53.1% from the field and 34.5% from three.

Tre Donaldson | Miami Heat

Donaldson went undrafted in 2026 and signed a two-way contract with the Heat on July 3. He has not recorded regular-season NBA minutes, but in five preseason games he averaged 5.4 points, 2.4 assists and 0.6 rebounds in 13.7 minutes. His strongest outing was 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting against New Orleans on Oct. 8.

In Summer League, Donaldson played seven games and averaged 13.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists. He had 20 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds against Detroit on July 17 and scored 22 points against Cleveland on July 13.

Ernest Udeh Jr. | Cleveland Cavaliers

Udeh signed a two-way contract with Cleveland on July 1 after going undrafted. He is on the Cavaliers' roster but was inactive for their Oct. 22 opener against Philadelphia.

In two preseason appearances he totaled four points and five rebounds in 20 minutes, and against Boston on Oct. 8 he had two points, four rebounds and one steal in 15 minutes.

In Summer League he started five games and averaged 4.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.8 blocks, 1.2 steals and 1.2 assists in 20.6 minutes.
