Miami Hurricanes included in final six schools for elite 2027 4-star WR

Four-star wide receiver Jaden Upshaw, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound target from Lee County High in Leesburg, Ga., has trimmed his recruitment to six programs: Alabama, Auburn, Miami, Southern California, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

Upshaw has taken four unofficial visits to Florida, two to Auburn and two to Georgia. Miami, USC, Alabama and Clemson have each had one visit, according to Rivals. Upshaw was in Coral Gables for Miami's 26-7 win over Florida.

Rivals ranks Upshaw as the No. 63 overall player in the 2027 class and the No. 11 wide receiver.

On the field, Upshaw caught 47 passes for 902 yards and eight touchdowns in 10 games during the 2025 season, after posting 63 catches for 842 yards and 11 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2024. Across three varsity seasons, he has logged 125 receptions for 1,964 yards and 22 touchdowns.
