Miami added another big piece to its offensive line on Saturday when junior college tackle Jacob Hawks committed to the Hurricanes during his official visit. The 6-foot-9, 320-pound lineman gives the Miami staff a late 2026 addition with uncommon size and immense upside.

JUCO OL Jacob Hawks commits to the Miami Hurricanes
Hawks is a native of Topeka, Kansas, and played his high school football at Washburn Rural before heading to Hutchinson Community College.
Hawks was a full-time starting left tackle for a Hutchinson program that went 11-1 and finished as the NJCAA national runner-up in 2025. The Blue Dragons averaged 39.8 points per game, 171.1 rushing yards and 206.7 passing yards.
Hawks' relationship with Miami slowly grew through communication with OL coach Alex Mirabal, and he committed after meeting HC Mario Cristobal and the staff in person.
Hawks has three years of remaining eligibility and can enroll at Miami this summer, making him a part of the 2026 class.
