Four-star wide receiver Osani Gayles of IMG Academy trimmed his list to 10 on Friday and included Miami among the finalists. Gayles' group includes Oregon, Washington, Tennessee, Alabama, Miami, USC, Florida State, Arizona State, Notre Dame and Stanford. He has already visited Miami, Oregon, Penn State, USC and Alabama. He has two more game-day trips scheduled — Washington on Nov. 15 and Stanford on Nov. 22.

He also identified five schools leading the race at the current stage: USC, Oregon, Washington, Miami and Alabama. The pacific northwest group — USC, Oregon, Washington — may come from his ties to California. Prior to IMG academy, Gayles played his first couple seasons back home in Tracy, CA.

From a Miami perspective, the Hurricanes have already hosted Gayles and remain an active presence in his process.

Gayles is a consensus top national recruit and is now playing against elite competition at IMG after transferring earlier this year. On3's Rivals Industry Ranking currently places him No. 52 overall in the 2027 class and lists him at 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds.

It's been a pretty good week on the recruiting trail for Miami. Monshun Sales, a five-star wide receiver from Indiana who is also in the Class of 2027, narrowed his recruitment recently. Sales included Miami among the programs he says are currently out in front.
