The new men's college basketball AP Top 25 is out. Duke stayed No. 1 for the second straight week in Monday's poll, while Miami (FL) popped into the rankings at No. 22, giving the ACC another ranked team right as conference tournament season arrives.

The Blue Devils picked up 55 of 59 first-place votes and extended their all-time record with the program's 149th appearance at No. 1. Duke (27-2) has held its last six opponents to an average of 57 points per game.

Behind Duke, the top of the poll stayed loaded with Arizona at No. 2 after a statement win over Kansas, Michigan at No. 3, and UConn and Florida rounding out the top five. Iowa State and Houston each slid two spots to Nos. 6 and 7 after losses.

Miami (Ohio) is No. 19 at 29-0, the only undefeated team left in Division I.

The Hurricanes (23-6) are ranked for the first time since 2023, checking in at No. 22 after wins over Florida State and Boston College. Miami is back in the national spotlight as the ACC tournament is right around the corner.

Miami coming in at No. 22 pushed the back end of the rankings around. BYU dropped out from No. 19 after going 1-3 over its last four games and losing guard Richie Saunders to a season-ending knee injury. Louisville also fell out from No. 25 after losses to North Carolina and Clemson.

The turnaround for Miami has been remarkable as HC Jai Lucas has shown that he is the absolute truth. After only winning seven games last season, Lucas rebuilt the Hurricanes and now has them pretty much locked into March Madness.

Texas Tech made the largest jump, climbing six spots to No. 10 after wins over Cincinnati and Iowa State. Michigan State rose five places to No. 8 after beating Purdue and then winning at Indiana, while Nebraska climbed three spots to No. 9.

Purdue took the hardest fall. The Boilermakers dropped seven spots to No. 15 after losses to Michigan State and Ohio State. Gonzaga slid three places to No. 12 after losing to Saint Mary's, and St. John's dropped three to No. 18.

Saint Mary’s is in at No. 21 after beating Gonzaga and earning a share of the West Coast Conference regular-season title.

The Big 12 is tied with the Big Ten and SEC for the most ranked teams (five each), with the ACC next at four.
