Miami left tackle Markel Bell was named to the Pro Football Focus National Team of the Week. Bell, edge rusher Rueben Bain and cornerback Keionte Scott all earned PFF Week Nine All-ACC for their performances in the 42-7 Miami win over Stanford on Saturday.

Bell earned an 82.3 PFF overall grade, a 73.4 pass blocking grade and an 81.5 run blocking grade without allowing a pressure or sack, according to David Lake of Inside the U. Per PFF via Lake, Bell had the fifth-highest PFF grade for Miami and the highest run block grade for the Hurricanes against Stanford.

Bell helped Miami finish with 405 yards of total offense. Miami struggled for most of the first half with 95 yards on 20 plays during its first three drives against Stanford. The Hurricanes have 228 yards in the second half. That includes 130 rushing.

Bain quietly had another dominant performance. In the traditional stats, Bain recorded one tackle without a tackle for loss, sack, or quarterback hurry. PFF recorded Bain with six pressures, a 90.7 pass rush grade, a 71.0 run defense grade and one missed tackle per Lake.

Miami was dominant defensively after allowing a 12-play 74-yard touchdown drive to Stanford on the opening possession. Stanford had 70 yards on its remaining 10 drives. Miami held Stanford to 89 passing yards and 55 rushing yards.

PFF gave Scott an 83.4 overall grade for his performance against Stanford. Scott led Miami with five tackles versus the Cardinal and added one QB hurry. PFF credited Scott with one pressure and no missed tackles. Scott allowed two receptions for six yards on three targets in coverage per Lake.

The longest gain by Stanford was seven yards on a Scott tackle. Stanford quarterback Ben Gulbranson completed four passes in five attempts for 26 yards and a touchdown on the Cardinal's first drive of the game to put them ahead 7-0.

Miami held Gulbranson and backup QB Elijah Brown to eight completions in 21 attempts for 63 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions for the remainder of the game. Scott has been one of the most productive players for Miami in 2025, leading the Hurricanes with 34 tackles and 7.0 TFLs.
