Miami remains in the race for one of Georgia's better edge defenders in the 2028 class after Luke Nabors narrowed his recruitment to 10 schools.
Nabors, a four-star prospect from Buford, Georgia, included Miami with Texas Tech, Notre Dame, Indiana, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Texas, South Carolina, Ohio State and Penn State. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound pass rusher is still more than a year away from signing, but cutting the list to 10 schools gives the Hurricanes a shot.

Miami is one of 10 schools left for blue-chip Georgia pass rusher Luke Nabors
Nabors is one of the higher-rated edge defenders in the 2028 class. He is currently ranked No. 187 nationally, No. 20 at EDGE and No. 19 in Georgia in 247Sports' rankings. Rivals ranks him No. 300 nationally, No. 35 among edge rushers and No. 39 in Georgia in its Industry Ranking.
The Hurricanes have already made edge recruiting a major point of emphasis in the 2027 cycle with five-star Jaiden Bryant and Jayvon Dawson committed. Nabors would offer Miami a chance to carry that momentum into 2028 with another Georgia defender who projects as a player capable of growing into a bigger role along the line of scrimmage.
Miami currently has two commits in the 2028 class
