This kid is definitely going to be on 'flip' watch.

We don't have to tell you that when it comes to recruiting, Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal always means business. He's been able to land some big-name recruits and he has no problem sending a message to a different program by poaching a key commit.

Will that end up being the case once again for Miami, this time stealing a 4-star commit from Tennessee? That's what fans are hoping for, as tight end Carson Sneed has high interest in the Canes and he has two trips to Coral Gables on his calendar.

According to 247's Gaby Urrutia, Sneed has locked in an unofficial visit for spring camp, while he will also be back on campus for an official visit later in the year. Per his 247 page, his OV to Miami will take place on June 6.

4-star Tennessee commit Carson Sneed will take 2 Miami football visits

The fact that Sneed is visiting twice sure tells you that Miami and Cristobal have a great chance to flip him here. Sneed is up to 40 offers. He's ranked four stars, the No. 10 TE in the country and No. 6 prospect from Tennessee for the 2026 class.

Back in August, Sneed decided to shut down his recruitment and give Tennessee's Josh Heupel his commitment. With the 6-5, 235-pounder being a Nashville product too, the expectation was that the Vols would have no issues hanging on to their in-state pledge.

However, Cristobal and the Miami coaches sure are giving the talented tight end recruit a lot to think about moving forward. Sneed won't be able to sign with his college choice until December, meaning there's plenty of time for the Canes to try and change his mind.

During spring camp, Miami will give him a close-up look at how the program operates and then Cristobal will follow things up by trying to turn his head in June. In addition to Miami and Tennessee, Sneed holds offers from Alabama, UCLA, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Florida State and more than 30 other programs. He's one of the top tight ends in the nation for '26. There's a good reason Cristobal is working overtime to try and get him on board.
