Miami signed a solid group on the offensive line in the 2025 class led by future starting center Seuseu Alofaituli. Alofaituli is the top-ranked offensive signee in the 2025 Miami. Four-star tight ends Luka GIlbert and Brock Schott should continue the tradition of TE U at Miami.
Three-star offensive line signees Max Buchanan and Demetrius Campbell are likely developmental players who are projected to redshirt. Alofaituli could redshirt depending on whether Miami adds an experienced center.
The likely departure of Elijah Arroyo to the NFL Draft, Cameron McCormick completing his eligiblity and Riley Wiliams entering the transfer portal should provide Gilbert and Schott with the chance to compete for snaps as freshmen.
Rising sophomore Elija Lofton and rising redshirt sophomore Jackson Carver are the only returning TEs for Miami in 2025. Miami is reportedly recruiting transfer TEs for 2025 to add experience and depth to the roster.
Alofaituli is the highest-ranked 2025 Miami offensive signee as the 96th prospect, seventh interior OL and second player in Nevada out of legendary Las Vegas Bishop Gorman. Miami freshman TE Elija Lofton was a high school teammate of Alofaituli. Alofaituli has a chance to start if Miami doesn't add a transfer center.
Schott gives Miami two blue-chip TEs in the 2025 class. Schott is the 256th prospect, 12th TE and fifth player in Indiana in the 2025 class. In his high school career, Schott recorded 101 receptions for 1,717 yards and 19 TDs. Gilbert and Schott add to a deep Miami TE room.
Gilbert is the 318th prospect, 14th tight end and 10th player in Ohio in the 2024 class. At 6'7 and 233 pounds, Gilbert provides Miami with a big target. Greg Biggins of 247SportsΒ statedΒ "Almost wonder if he outgrows the tight end position and can put on enough weight to play as an offensive tackle. Surprisingly good blocker for his size."
Buchanan is the 319th prospect, 19th interior offensive lineman and 44th player in Florida out of Sanford Seminole. At 6'4 and 275 pounds, Buchanan already has excellent size. Buchanan played left tackle for Seminole. Buchanan took official visits to Clemson, Florida State, Miami, Mississippi and Penn State per 247Sports.
Wilkerson is the 1.308th prospect, 90th OT and 171st player in Florida out of Orlando Edgewater. Wilkerson is the biggest of the 2025 Miami signees at 6'6 and 330 pounds. Miami offensive line coach Alex Mirabal has been extremely successful in developing three-star OL for the Hurricanes.
Campbell is the 1,038th prospect, 74th offensive tackle and 135th player in Florida in the 2025 class out of Orlando Christian Prep. At 6'6 and 300 pounds Campbell is an athletic player who also played basketball per his 247Sports profile.
