Miami offensive lineman Anez Cooper stated it is not hard at all to block Florida defensive lineman Tyreak Sapp on a social media post. Florida has three tackles, one tackle for loss and one sack in the 41-17 Miami win at Florida in the 2024 season opener.
Sapp had the only sack for Florida and one of the two TFLs against Miami in 2024. Cam Ward threw for 385 yards, averaging 10.7 yards per attempt and the Hurricanes ran 33 times for 144 yards as Miami shredded the Florida defense.
Miami did its greatest damage against Florida in the second and third quarters, when they scored 31 of their 41 points. The Hurricanes had 190 yards in the second quarter, with Ward passing for 139. Miami extended their lead to 24-10 at halftime with a 17-7 advantage in the second quarter.
Miami had 162 yards in the third quarter, with 146 from Ward as the Hurricanes outscored Florida 14-0 to put the game away with a 38-10 lead after 45 minutes. The trolling from Cooper is backed up by the performance of the Miami OL in the dominant win at Florida in 2024.

Cooper is entering his third season as a starter for Miami and has a 70.8 Pro Football Focus pass blocking grade since 2023. Sapp has 91 tackles, 19.0 TFLs , 9.0 sacks, one pass defended and four forced fumbles in three seasons for Florida.
Sapp had a breakout season in 2024 with 47 tackles, 13.0 TFLs, 7.0 sacks and two forced fumbles. Cooper earned honorable mention All-ACC after the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Cooper was named third-team preseason All-ACC by Athlon Sports.
Sapp was named third-team preseason All-SEC. Miami hosts Florida on September 20 in the return game from 2024. The comments from Cooper add another dimension to an already contested rivalry when the Gators and Hurricanes play at Hard Rock Stadium in 2025.,
