The Miami offensive line against the Louisville defensive line matches up two of the best units nationally per Pro Football Focus. Miami has dominated on the line of scrimmage in 2025. Miami has imposed its will running and Carson Beck has thrown from mostly clean pockets in 2025.

Per Max Chadwick of PFF, Miami is fourth nationally with a 79,9 OL grade and is one of only four teams in the nation in the top 15 in pass blocking and run blocking. Miami is eighth in pass blocking grade and 12th in run blocking grade.

Beck is 21st nationally with a 77.2 completion percentage from a clean pocket per Chadwick. Miami is seventh nationally, allowing 3.2 tackles per loss per game, 35th, permitting 1.2 sacks per game and 59th averaging 4.45 yards per carry in 2025.

Louisville has a pressure rate of 41 percent, is 60th nationally, averaging 5.8 TFLs, 23rd, posting 2.8 sacks per game and 27th holding opponents to 2.8 YPC. The key for Louisville will be getting pressure on Beck and force turnovers.

How well the Louisville DL plays could be the difference in the game. Miami was able to hold off Florida State despite the Seminoles scoring 19 points in the fourth quarter. Louisville has to avoid falling into a deep hole. Miami has started well in nearly every game in 2025.
