Ryan Miret, a four-star interior offensive lineman from Miami Southridge High School, is set to embark on a series of official visits this June with the University of Miami among his scheduled stops. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 295 pounds, Miret is considered a top-50 offensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting class.

His official visit itinerary includes Nebraska (June 6–8), Ole Miss (June 13–15), Georgia Tech (June 17–19), and Miami (June 20–22). Miami has been proactive in recruiting Miret, with head coach Mario Cristobal and offensive line coach Alex Mirabal making in-school visits and hosting him for an unofficial visit in April. The Hurricanes aim to solidify their position during Miret's official visit later this month. With Miret visiting Miami last, there is hope that the final impression will be the strongest, if he decides to make a decision following all of his trips.
Ole Miss has shown strong interest, extending an offer in January and hosting Miret for an unofficial visit in March. Nebraska, another contender, have been actively recruiting him with offensive line coach Donovan Raiola leading the efforts.
Earlier in the recruiting cycle, Miami was able to secure a commitment from OT Jackson Cantwell, one of the best recruits in the country. That was in addition to four-star OT Ben Congdon, three-star IOL JJ Sparks and three-star IOL Joel Ervin. Miami currently sits at No. 8 in the 2026 recruiting rankings and first in the ACC rankings, according to On3. Of the 10 recruits that have committed in 2026, one holds a 5-star rating, seven are 4-stars, and two are 3-star prospects. The 80% blue chip rating has propelled Miami into the national recruiting scene.
On3 has Miami favored for Miret with a 52.8% confidence rating. Ole Miss and Nebraska are behind the Hurricanes at No. 2 and No. 3. Miret is rated as a four-star by Rivals but a three-star by On3 and 247sports.
