Miami's 2026 season ended with a 39-20 record and a trip to the NCAA Gainesville Regional. The next stage of the program's offseason is already underway, with 12 Hurricanes headed to collegiate summer leagues across the country.
Miami is assigning six players in the Cape Cod Baseball League, three in the New England Collegiate Baseball League and three others in the Northwoods League, Valley League and MLB Draft League. The group includes returning contributors, young players with limited college experience and newcomer Jack Ensell, who will play for the Valley Blue Sox.
The Cape Cod League group is led by outfielder Dylan Dubovik and infielder Fabio Peralta.
Dubovik hit .312 with seven home runs, 30 RBI and a .565 slugging percentage for Miami. He will play for the Wareham Gatemen. Peralta will join the Falmouth Commodores after batting .289 with 37 hits, 29 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 52 games.
Falmouth will also have left-hander Jack Durso, who struck out 38 batters in 26.2 innings across 24 appearances for Miami.
Outfielder Michael Torres and left-hander Sebastian Santos-Olson will play for the Brewster Whitecaps.
Nick Robert rounds out Miami's Cape Cod contingent with the Bourne Braves.
Gabriel Milano, who hit .313 with four home runs and 18 RBI in 28 games, will play for the Ocean State Waves. Jailen Watkins heads to the Martha's Vineyard Sharks after appearing in 20 games and producing seven hits in 26 at-bats.
Infielder Brandon Degoti will play for the Kalamazoo Growlers in the Northwoods League. Degoti appeared in 19 games and hit .273 in limited action during his first season with the Hurricanes.
Right-hander Erick Peralta will pitch for the New Market Rebels in the Valley League after striking out 14 batters in 9.2 innings over 10 appearances. Left-hander Frank Menendez is headed to the Aberdeen IronBirds in the MLB Draft League. Menendez struck out 12 hitters in 5.1 innings across nine appearances during the 2026 season.
