Miami Hurricanes injury situation
Starters Lucas and OJ Frederique Jr. have been sidelined since the season opener at Stanford, and Ja'Boree Antoine has not played this season. Ethan O'Connor, Damari Brown and Bryce Fitzgerald have been the outside corners in their place.
O'Connor, a Washington State transfer who was last year's third corner, had the game-sealing interception at Wake Forest. Fitzgerald has slid from safety to corner and Freshman JJ Dunnigan has taken safety snaps behind Zechariah Poyser, while Omar Thornton has worked at nickel. Dunnigan had an impressive spring camp and has been one of the best developments for the Miami Hurricanes this season.
Clemson Tigers injury situation
For the Tigers, safety Polo Anderson and cornerback Shavar Young Jr. are out, along with wide receiver Cole Turner, running backs David Eziomume and Jay Haynes, defensive tackles Kourtney Kelly and Markus Strong, and offensive lineman Mason Wade.
Starting left guard Elyjah Thurmon, who left the California game after 17 snaps and did not return, was upgraded to probable, and defensive end Armon Mason is also probable. Starting nickel Corian Gipson and defensive tackle Devarrick Woods, both out against California, are not on Friday's report, which indicates they are available. Quarterback Christopher Vizzina is also off the injury report.
