Just over a week after being hired, new Miami head coach Jai Lucas contacted Bosnia National Forward Harun Zrno who was then committed to Indiana. Zrno has since de-committed from Indiana and has now scheduled a visit to Miami for the weekend of April 18.

Canes Insight reported on Monday morning that Zrno would be visiting Miami. Villanova Report posted to X on Sunday that Zrvo would be taking visits to Miami and Villanova. Lucas is trying to put together a 2025 Miami class after the Hurricanes lost 7'0 center Ben Ahmed and guard Matthew Able who signed in November.

Ahmed is now committed to Oklahoma State. Able reopened his recruitment and is reportedly still considering Miami. Able visited North Carolina State over the weekend. Able is 6'5 and 190 pounds and Zrno is 6'7 and 205. Either would provide Lucas and Miami with a wing player with good length.

Playing for KK Slajiva Zrno, averaged 17.5 points per game, 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals while shooting 50.0 percent from the floor, 43.7 percent on three-point attempts and 77.4 percent from the free throw line according to Real GM. Zrno appears to be an efficient player.

William McDermott publishes a substack on Indiana Basketball and wrote an extensive scouting report on Zrno. Zrno is an adept shooter who likely needs to work on his ability to play in space and his athleticism. Lucas wants to play up tempo and Zrno seems to fit that style.

McDermott said, "Zrno gets after it in transition and loves to push the pace and hustle down the floor." Depending on who Miami adds through the transfer portal, Zrno could provide Lucas with a player to help build towards the future. Miami needs nearly an entirely new roster. Guards A.J. Staton-McCray are Divine Ugochukwu are the only returnees.
