It was a productive weekend for Miami, with one of the five defensive prospects committing to the Hurricanes after official visits this weekend. That was the second of two commitments this weekend to the 2026 Miami class, which is now ranked seventh nationally.

Charles is the 206th prospect, 21st edge rusher and 29th player in Florida out of Venice. Primarily in the last two seasons, Charles has 207 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, 24.5 sacks, 34.0 quarterback hurries, one fumble recovery and two forced fumbles.

Wilson was the highest-ranked player on an official visit to Miami this weekend. The 247 composite rankings have Wilson as the 58th prospect, sixth DL and third player in Mississippi out of Picayune Memorial. Wilson also took official visits to Auburn, Alabama, Mississippi and USC, per 247Sports.

The recruitment for Wilson appears to be fairly open, with Alabama the leader with a 29.6 percent chance for a commitment per On3. Mississippi is second with a 21.7 percent chance for a Wilson commitment, Auburn is third at 14,9 percent and Miami is fourth at 12.5 percent.

Forkpa Jr. is the 240th prospect, 15th LB and 38th player in Florida in the 2026 class out of IMG Academy in Bradenton. On3 projects Florida State with a 31.7 percent chance for a commitment from Forka, Michigan at 27.8 percent, Florida at 19.1 percent and Miami at 12.1 percent.

Finch committed to Alabama on Sunday. The consensus three-star prospect is the 449th player in the 2026 class, 50th DL and second in Indiana out of Indianapolis, Warren Central. Alabama hosted Finch for his official visit the weekend of May 30. Michigan and Tennessee also hosted Wilson for official visits.

Anderson is the 938th prospect, 78th CB and 114th player in New Jersey in the 2026 class. Miami was one of six to eight programs to host Anderson for an official visit, depending on the recruiting site. No 247Sports crystal balls are logged for Anderson. Florida is the prohibitive favorite at 84.4 percent for an Anderson commitment.

Mario Cristobal and his staff have Miami trending for their third top 10 class in four recruiting cycles with Miami. The Hurricanes are far from finished, with several high-level blue-chip prospects still considering Miami. Expect more commitments in the next few weeks.
