Six Miami players are out and two are questionable, with 16 Stanford players out, one out for the first half, two questionable and six probable in the Initial Student-Athlete Availability Reporting Update ahead of their game on Saturday night at Hard Rock Stadium.
Defensive lineman Hayden Lowe, wide receiver Chance Robinson, tight ends Jackson Carver and Dylan Reiman and offensive linemen Ralph Scroggins and Demetrius Campbell are out for Miami. Linebacker Bobby Washington Jr. and Mykah Newton are questionable for the Hurricanes.
Cornerback Jay Green and leading rusher Micah Ford are the most important players who are out for Stanford. Green is third on Stanford with 28 tackles, has one tackle for loss, leads the Cardinal with five passes defended and has one of their four fumble recoveries.
Ford has 99 carries for 425 yards and three touchdowns with eight receptions for 77 yards. Ford ran for 113 yards against Hawaii and 157 versus Boston College. Cornerback Collin Wright, LB Wilfred Aybar, Quarterback Ben Dulbranson, Tabb, leading tackler and LB Matt Rose are key players listed as probable for Stanford on the initial Student-Athlete Availability Reporting Update.
Wright is fifth on Stanford with 23 tackles, has the only Cardinal interception that he returned for a TD and is third on the Farm with two passes defended. Rose is arguably the best defensive player for Stanford with 56 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack and 2.0 passes defended.
Aybar has 12.0 tackles and 1.0 fumble recovery that he returned for a TD. Gulbranson was injured against Florida State and did not play in the second half. A pro-style QB, Gulbranson has completed 58.4 percent of his pass attempts, for 1,535 yards, seven TDs and five interceptions.
None of the injured players for Miami has made an impact in 2025. Lowe was a 2025 five-star signee who suffered a season-ending injury in August training camp. Carver, Robinson and Washington add depth for Miami.
Another Student-Athlete Availability Reporting update will occur on Friday at 8 PM Eastern Daylight time and the final one about 5:30 PM on Saturday, or as usual, 90 minutes before kickoff. JoJo Trader remains absent from the injury report, but has still not made his Miami season debut.
