After he was charged with three counts of vehicular homicide in his hometown of Largo, Miami indefinitely suspended linebacker Adarius Hayes. Hayes was charged with three counts of vehicular homicide and one count of reckless driving that resulted in three deaths.

Hayes turned himself into Largo police on Friday and records show he was booked into the Pinellas County Jail per ESPN. Per multiple reports, 78-year-old Gail Price, 10-year-old Jabari Elijah Solomon and four-year-old Charlie Herbert Solomon Riveria died in the crash instigated by Hayes on May 10.

Herbert Riveria, the 58-year-old father who was sitting in the front seat of a Kia Soul that killed his two sons, suffered serious injuries in the accident. Largo police reported Hayes was driving a Dodge Durango at a high rate of speed and maneuvering aggressively through traffic.

It was also reported that Hayes rapidly switched lanes, crossed three lanes of traffic without signaling and collided with the Kia Soul, which was making a lawful left turn. Vehicular homicide is a second-degree felony and the reckless driving change with serious bodily injury is a third-degree felony.

"The investigation concluded that Adarius Hayes' egregious speed, aggressive and reckless lane changes, and complete disregard for surrounding traffic conditions demonstrated a willful and deliberate disregard for the safety of others, constituting reckless driving. These actions directly led to the tragic deaths of the three victims."
