Pete Nakos and Steve Wiltfong of On3 both named Georgia, Miami and Texas as schools to watch for Texas A&M transfer wide receiver Noah Thomas. Thomas is the 52nd-ranked transfer and 16th WR in the portal by On3. Thomas entered the transfer portal on New Year's Day.

In three seasons at Texas A&M, Thomas had 73 receptions for 984 yards and 15 touchdowns. Thomas has improved in each season at Texas A&M. Thomas had his best season in 2024 with career highs of 39 receptions for 574 yards and eight TDs. At 6'6 and 200 pounds, Thomas would provide an excellent red zone target.

Twenty-four of Thomas' receptions in 2024 went for first downs, 12 were for 15 or more yards and four were for 25 plus. Thomas led Texas A&M in receptions, receiving yards and TDs. Thomas' numbers and size translate more to a player who is productive in the middle of the field and the red zone than a deep threat.

On3 ranked Thomas as the 379th prospect, 65th WR and 57th player in Texas out of League City, Clear Springs in the 2022 class. Thomas received scholarship offers from 19 Power Five programs out of high school, including Texas A&M according to his 247Sports profile. Georgia, Miami and Texas did not offer Thomas in high school.

Miami has to replace its top four receivers from 2024. Sam Brown is entering the NFL Draft, Isaiah Horton transferred to Alabama and Jacolby George and Xavier Restrepo are out of eligibility. Miami has already received a commitment from LSU WR C.J. Daniels.

Miami will return Ny Carr, Chance Robinson and JoJo Trader who are entering their second seasons with Miami and redshirt junior Shemar Kirk will also be back. Miami will likely seek to add a second and potentially third transfer WR entering the 2025 season without much experience at the position on the roster.
