Miami beat Binghamton 88-54 to improve to 2-0 in 2024-25. The Hurricanes received balanced scoring with four players scoring in double figures. Miami hosts Coppin State on November 17 before playing in the Charleston Classic on November 21, 22 and 24. Miami will play Drake in its first game in Charleston. Pack is the only Miami player remaining from the Hurricanes' win over Drake in the 2023 NCAA Tournament on their way to the Final Four.
Miami will play either Oklahoma State or Florida Atlantic in the second game in Charleston. Seton Hall versus VCU and Vanderbilt against Nevada are the three teams on the other side of the bracket. None of the teams playing in Charlotte are ranked. Miami is among other receiving votes.
