Netflix announced Wednesday that Pro Football Hall of Famer and Miami Hurricanes legend, Michael Irvin, will host "The White House with Michael Irvin," a new original sports video podcast that debuts Jan. 19 and will drop two episodes per week. The show will cover current sports news, game analysis and commentary, with a rotating lineup of co-hosts and guests.
Former NFL All-Pro wide receiver Brandon Marshall will be part of that rotation and will also produce the show. Most episodes will be shot at the company's Miami-based studio.

Irvin has had recent roles with Netflix in its Cowboys docuseries "America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys" and as an analyst during NFL Christmas Gameday 2025.
The title comes Irvin's "White House" lore from the 1990s Cowboys era. It was a notorious off-site hangout he discussed in the Netflix docuseries.
Netflix is also using Irvin’s show as part of a bigger move into original video podcasts. Netflix's first wave of originals in the format include Irvin's show and "The Pete Davidson Show," which is slated to premiere Jan. 30.

Michael Irvin is a certified Miami legend
Irvin remains one of the program's most recognizable ambassadors. He won a national title with the Hurricanes in the 1987 season before becoming a Cowboys icon and three-time Super Bowl champion. He left Miami holding career records for catches (143), yards (2,423) and TD receptions (26).
Now, he is a recognizable figure on the sidelines of every Miami football game.
