This is just out of this world. The showdown between Miami football and Notre Dame is still going on, but people can't stop talking about the incredible one-handed grab from wide receiver CJ Daniels. This might be the best catch of the year already.
With quarterback Carson Beck scrambling a bit and looking downfield, he let a ball rip in hopes that the LSU transfer would be able to come down with it. Daniels did just that, looking like Odell Beckham Jr. in the process. Thanks to the team over at ESPN, we've been given a new angle of the Daniels' grab and it's simply brilliant from the veteran wideout:

CJ Daniels posted an unreal TD for Miami football against Notre Dame
For a second, plenty of Miami fans were probably a little worried that Beck made a mistake and that he was about to throw the first interception of his Canes career. Instead, it turned out to be the second TD for him on the night, with Beck previously connecting with Malachi Toney.
Daniels transferred in from LSU and he was immediately viewed as a big-play threat for Beck and head man Mario Cristobal. He has wasted no time in living up to the hype, with that play alone getting just about everyone at the Hard Rock Stadium off of their feet.
It's got to be a great feeling for Beck too knowing that he's got stud pass-catchers like this who can do the unthinkable when he puts the ball in their area. Thus far, the Miami offense is humming and the defense has been solid too.
As for Daniels, he's going to want to record even more big-time grabs for Miami the rest of the way, but it's clear that he and Beck have built some strong chemistry with one another. That's bad news for the rest of the ACC.
