Five-star athlete Xavier Sabb
Sabb is listed at 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds and plays all over the field for Glassboro High. On3's Industry Ranking slots him as a top-25 national recruit, the No. 1 athlete and the No. 1 player in New Jersey. The 247Sports Composite also has him as the top athlete and top in-state prospect in the 2027 class.
As a sophomore in 2024, Sabb caught 48 passes for 843 yards and 12 touchdowns, added 58 rushing yards and a score, and posted 26 tackles and seven interceptions on defense, plus a punt-return touchdown. He helped Glassboro go 13-0 and capture the first state title in school history, earning MaxPreps Sophomore All-America honors and recognition as one of New Jersey’s top returning receivers. Sabb has continued to dominate in his junior season this fall and will be in Florida for the Under Armour Next All-America Game on January 3rd.
Alabama, Oregon, Notre Dame, USC, Tennessee and Texas A&M are reportedly pushing the hardest. Xavier Sabb is the younger brother of Alabama defensive back Keon Sabb, who started his career at Michigan, won a national championship there and now stars for the Crimson Tide. He is also the younger brother to 2026 athlete Amari Sabb (3-star per 247sports). That connection gives Alabama a natural in, and maybe the brothers could be a package deal at the next level.

The Hurricanes offered Sabb in April 2024. While it does appear to be an uphill battle, there definitely could be a path for the Hurricanes to gain some ground in Sabb's recruitment if they can get him in the building.
