Breck Kolojay, a 6‑foot‑6, 320‑pound interior offensive lineman from IMG Academy, has committed to the University of Southern California, choosing the Trojans over finalists Miami and Georgia. He then proceeded to announce that he is shutting down his recruitment.
USC landed Kolojay after he took official visits during the summer to Oklahoma, Colorado, Ohio State, Miami, Georgia and USC (June 17–19), with his final stop at Tennessee (June 20–22). A native of Denver, Colorado, Kolojay transferred to IMG prior to his junior year and developed into a highly-rated prospect.
"They constantly recruited me, the relationships I’ve built with USC over the past couple of months were fantastic. It’s just where my heart is at. I never made it about money or anything … The opportunity in L.A. is pretty insane. It also allows me to be closer to home.”"Breck Kolojay
Kolojay joins a USC class of 32 commitments rated No. 2 nationally by 247Sports. The group includes fellow IMG Academy upperclassmen and Columbus-area teammates Keenyi Pepe (five-star OT) and Mark Bowman (long-time friend and TE commit). 247Sports ranks him among the top 21 interior linemen in the class.
For USC, Kolojay represents a piece of the rebuild under coach Lincoln Riley, who adds size and versatility up front. For Miami and Georgia, the announcement that he will not be taking any other visits is a tough blow. Although, both programs are in good shape on the recruiting trail. Kolojay also may be playing high school football in the state of Florida, but that is not where he is originally from. Miami specifically has had plenty of success recruiting the offensive line positon in the Class of 2026. The OL commits for 2026 goes as follows:
- Ben Congdon, OT, Mineral City, OH
- Joel Ervin, OG, Fort Myers, FL
- J.J. Sparks, OT, Jacksonville, FL
- Jackson Cantwell, OT, Nixa, MO – No. 1 overall prospect in 2026 class
- Rhys Woodrow, IOL, Orlando, FL
- Canon Pickett, OT, Tampa, FL
