Virginia Tech hasn't been a difficult rival for the Hurricanes to topple in more recent matchups but over decades of clashing, the Hokies have been able to disappoint the Hurricanes a handful of times.

Visiting Lane Stadium is always a daunting feat, especially in the midst of an already difficult conference schedule.

So, pushing the Hokies out of the ACC would be a welcome relief for the Canes. This season, the two teams are scheduled to play on Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m. ET at Hard Rock Stadium.
