Of course, the Hurricanes would kick out the Seminoles, this section almost doesn't need to be written.

Sure, the in-state rivals can still have an annual brawl for the Florida Cup but wouldn't it be nice if Florida State wasn't in the way of the No. 1 spot in the ACC anymore?

Throughout nearly a century of playing each other, the Seminoles and Hurricanes have basically split the 68 matchups. However, the Canes currently have a two-game advantage over their rivals from up the road.

Miami and Florida State will play at Hard Rock Stadium on Oct. 26, the kickoff time has yet to be announced.
