4-Star WR Jaime Ffrench likes how Miami football offense will work moving forward
Five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench likes "how the offense will work moving forward" for the Miami football program according to Rivals.Com National Recruiting Director Adam Gorney earlier this week. French committed to Alabama in July and de-committed from the Crimson Tide when Nick Saban retired in January.
Ohio State is the recent leader for a commitment from Ffrench. The 247SportsDirector of Football Recruiting Steve Wiltfong and Tom Loy a 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst have logged crystal balls for French to Ohio State. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine projects Ohio State with a 56.9 chance for a French commitment.
According to his On3 profile, Ffrench has an official visit scheduled to LSU the weekend of May 3 and Texas beginning June 21. The 247Sports profile for Ffrench reports that he will take an official visit to Tennessee the weekend of June 14. No official visit for Ffrench to Miami has been listed by 247Sports or On3.
Ffrench is the 16th prospect, third WR and third recruit in Florida in the 2025 class. Miami already has a commitment from 2025 four-star WR Waden Charles. Ffrench has 114 career receptions for 2.034 yards and 21 career touchdowns. Ffrench has improved throughout his career at Jacksonville Mandarin.
"The list for the high four-star receiver from Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin is seeing some major changes especially after a visit to Miami in recent days went really well. The love and attention Ffrench received on the visit and how the offense will work moving forward stood out to the in-state prospect as Miami joins the top list with Ohio State (believed to be the leader), LSU, Texas and Tennessee. Florida State has been up there but was not mentioned by Ffrench this time."

Ffrench ascended to 44 receptions for 671 yards and five TDs as a sophomore and exploded to 62 for 1,247 and 16 as a junior. Ffrench is the type of player who can enter a program and make an immediate impact as a true freshman in 2025.
Andrew Ivins the 247Sports Director of Scouting observed that Ffrench provides versatility to play inside or outside with the tools to be a power conference go to receiver. Ffrench's brother Maurice was a record-setting WR at Pittsburgh who has spent time in the NFL and CFL.
