A look at the 3 RBs who have taken June official visits with Miami football program

Three running backs including one who is committed to the Miami football program have taken official visit with the Miami football program in June.

Three running backs, including Miami football commit Girard Pringle Jr. have taken official visits with the Hurricanes in June. Miami has also hosted four-star American Heritage RB Byron Louis and three-star RB Shekai Mills-Knight from Chattanooga Baylor School in the last month.

Louis and Mills-Knight took their visits first beginning on May 31 through the rest of that weekend. Less than a week after Mills-Knight finished his visit with Miami, Rivals.Com National Recruiting Director Adam Gorney named Miami the favorite for a commitment from Mills-Knight.

Mills-Knight has taken official visits to Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee since visiting Miami and will be at Mississippi this weekend. There are no 247Sports crystal balls logged for Mills-Knight. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine lists Mississippi as the favorite for Mills-Knight with a 34.7 percent chance for a commitment.

Auburn is second at 15.4 percent, followed by Alabama at 13.2 percent and Miami, Ohio State and Tennessee at 8.3 percent. We should know more about where Mills-Knight stands in his recruitment after he visits Mississippi this weekend.

Louis has taken visits to Miami, Wisconsin and Georgia. Florida State will host Louis this weekend. There are no 247Sports crystal balls logged for Louis. Florida State is the leader for Louis with a 64.2 percent chance for a Louis commitment. Miami is second at 30.2 percent in what has become a two-team competition for a Louis commitment.

Pringle has been committed to Miami since March. Miami hosted Pringle this past weekend. Pringle told CaneSport he is not planning on taking more visits. Pringle is the second highest-rated commit in the 2025 Miami class behind tight end Brock Schott.

Miami reportedly wants to add a second RB to its 2025 class. Mills-Knight seems like the RB to watch more than Louis. Miami could target another RB other than Louis or Mills-Knight. Miami is far from finished recruiting for the 2025 class. Running back will be a position to watch.
