The Miami football program leads for a flip from 4-star RB Jordan Lyle from Ohio State per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Lyle committed to Ohio State on April 29. Miami is listed with a 27.1 percent chance for a commitment from Lyle. Penn State is second at 23.7 percent and Florida is third at 10.6 percent.
There is no indication when the Recruiting Prediction Machine was last updated. Ohio State is fourth in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with an 8.9 percent chance of signing Lyle. Ohio State received the commitment from Lyle on April 29. Lyle is firmly committed to Ohio State but still taking the recruiting process day by day.
Lyle helped St. Thomas Aquinas to its fifth straight Class 3M state championship on Saturday in Tallahassee. Four-star wide receiver Chance Robinson and three-star defensive backs Romanas Frederique Jr. and Ryan Mack are committed to the 2024 Miami class from St. Thomas Aquinas.
There has been some speculation that Ohio State could flip Robinson from his commitment to Miami. Robinson visited Mississippi and Ohio State last month. Miami Running backs coach Tim Harris has led the recruitment for Lyle with offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson as the secondary recruiter.

Chad Simmons of On3 reported on Wednesday Lyle is taking his official visit with the Miami football program this weekend. Lyle took his only official visit to Ohio State on June 2. Florida, Florida State, Miami and Penn State are the only other schools that received unofficial visits from Lyle.
Miami has commitments at RB in the 2024 Class from four-star prospect Kevin Riley from Tuscaloosa County High School in Northport, Alabama and three-star recruit Chris Wheatley-Humphrey from South Broward. Riley is taking an official visit with Alabama this weekend as first reported by Simmons on Wednesday.
