10/19: Miami @ Louisville

This will, in all likelihood, be Miami's toughest test of the year. The 15th-ranked Cardinals are 3-0 while outscoring their opponents 142-33. Quarterback Tyler Shough, who transferred in from Texas Tech, has eight touchdowns and no picks so far.

Louisville also has two running backs, Isaac Brown and Duke Watson, who are averaging over 10.0 yards per carry. That's all without mentioning Ja'Corey Brooks, a transfer from Alabama who looks like a star at wide receiver.

Defensively, Louisville is less threatening, though edge rusher Ashton Gillotte is due to break out soon after recording 11 sacks a year ago. The Hurricanes lost to the Cardinals 38-31 at Hard Rock Stadium a season ago.

Mario Cristobal will be eager to seek revenge for that loss and keep Miami's outstanding season on track. This is the game that the FPI predicts Miami will struggle with the most, although they are still favored to win with a 59.8 percent chance.59.8 percent chance to win.
