The Miami basketball team will host Georgia Tech in a game they are favored to win. Miami has lost five straight games in a disappointing season. Matthew Cleveland and Nijel Pack did not play in Miami's 84-55 loss to Duke on Saturday. Cleveland and Pack are questionable for Saturday.

Georgia Tech travels to Coral Gables with losses in five of its last six games. The Yellow Jackets had their own beating on Wednesday. Clemson beat Georgia Tech 81-57. Miami's NCAA Tournament hopes were lost during the five game losing streak. Miami has an opportunity to finish the season strong beginning Saturday.

At stake for Miami over the final five games is trying to get out of playing in the opening round of the ACC Tournament that begins on Tuesday March 12. Miami could go from a double-bye in the last two seasons, to playing two games before the top four teams begin ACC Tournament play in the quarterfinals.

Georgia Tech is in its first season under former NBA point guard Damon Stoudamire. In a difficult season, Georgia Tech does have home wins over Duke and North Carolina. Georgia Tech has lost four consecutive road games and is 2-8 in opponents venues this season. Miami has lost its last three home games.
