Former Miami guard Javion Cohen and center Matt Lee were the last of five Hurricanes to compete at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis this weekend. Defensive tackle Leonard Taylor participated on Thursday and safeties Kamren Kinchens and James Williams were measured and timed on Friday.

Cohen only participated in the broad jump and the vertical. Lee competed in the 40-yard dash (with the 10-yard split), vertical and broad jump. The three-cone drill and 20-yard shuttle were the other three drills players participated in. Players will participate in the bench press on Monday.

Lee outperformed his draft projection. Cohen performed below Lee. Lee finished 12th among offensive linemen with a 5.09 40-yard dash. Washington tackle Roger Rosengarten led offensive lineman with a time of 4.92 40-yard dash. Lee was 23rd with a 1.76 10-yard split. Duke center Jacob Munk recorded the best 10-yard split in 1.76 seconds.

Lee was 22nd in the vertical, recording 31.00". Cohen recorded 26.50" in the vertical which was 44th overall. South Dakota OT Garret Greenfield had the biggest number in the vertical at 38.5" Lee finished 23rd with 9.3" in the broad jump. Cohen was 43rd with an 8.8" in the broad jump.

South Dakota State OT Mason McCormick topped the broad jump at 9.9." Wisconsin center Trevor Bortolini led the participants in the 3-cone shuttle with a time of 7.16 seconds and in the 20-yard shuttle at 4.28 seconds. Lee should have improved his draft stock with his performance at the combine.

Lee is currently projected as the 268th ranked player on the NFL Mock Draft database big board. There are 259 picks in the 2024 NFL Draft. Depending on the team, Lee might be selected and avoid being a undrafted free agent. Cohen currently projects as the 120th player on the big board. That would be a fourth round selection.
