How to watch Devin Hester and Andre Johnson get inducted into Pro Football HoF

Miami football legends Devin Hester and Andre Johnson will become the 10th and 11th Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees on Saturday in Canton, Ohio. Hester is considered the best kick returner in NFL history. Johnson will become the 90th first ballot Hall of Famer out of 378 inducteees.

Hester began his greatness as a kick returner at Miami. During his three seasons with the Hurricanes, Hester had 41 punt returns for 638 yards a gaudy 15.6 yard average per return and four touchdowns with 40 kickoff returns for 1,019 yards, a 25.5-yard average and two TDs during his Miami career.

In his first home game ever playing for Miami, Hester returned the opening kickoff 98 yards for a TD in 2003. The most memorable game for Hester in college was versus Louisville in 2004. Hester returned the opening kickoff of the second 100 yards for a TD. It should have brought Miami within 24-14, but it was called back because of a penalty.

Hester had another chance for heroics with a 78-yard punt return for a TD with 8:11 in the fourth quarter to give Miami a 34-31 lead with 8:11 left in the fourth quarter. Miami eventually beat Louisville 41-38. Hester finished the game with four kick returns for 95 yards and three punt returns for 89 yards and the TD.

Johnson finished his three season Miami career with 92 receptions for 1,831 yards and 20 TDs. The most memorable game for Johnson at Miami was in the 2002 Rose Bowl. Johnson was the Co-MVP with quarterback Ken Dorsey. Johnson had Miami career highs of seven receptions for 199 yards and two TDs.

Johnson finished his NFL Career earning first-team All Pro in 2008 and 2009 and 11th all-time in receptions and receiving yards. Reggie Wayne leads all Miami alums with 1,070 career receptions. Johnson had 1,062. Wayne had 14,345 receiving yards. Johnson had 14.185. Johnson and Wayne's Miami careers overlapped in 2000.

Hester finished his NFL career first with 20 non-offensive TDs and 14 punt return TDs, third with 3,695 punt return yards, ninth with an average of 11.7 yards per punt return and eighth with 11,028 combined punt and kickoff return yards. Former Miami WR Reggie Wayne should be the next Hurricane inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
