Hurricanes and Larrañaga will host Razorbacks and Calipari for the ACC/SEC Challenge

The Miami Hurricanes are set to host the Arkansas Razorbacks in one of the 16 games that will be a part of the ACC/SEC Challenge in 2024.
As each ACC team prepares for their matchup against an SEC opponent, the Canes may have one of the more difficult challenges ahead of them.
John Calipari, historied Kentucky head coach, took over the Arkansas program earlier this season, following the departure of Razorback head coach Eric Musselman left for USC.
The Hurricanes will be led by senior guard Nijel Pack, who has started for Miami for multiple seasons in a row.
Pack is projected to be one of the top guards in the ACC for the 2024 season, alongside Duke' Tyrese Proctor and North Carolina's RJ Davis.
When Calipari and the Razorbacks come to town, many of his former Kentucky Wildcat stars will be in tow.
Projected first-round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft Adou Thiero followed his head coach to Arkansas. The forward is expected to be a pivotal part of the Razorback's starting lineup and may pose a problem when they visit Miami.
While the dates and times aren't scheduled for the ACC/SEC Challenge games, it is just one more thing for fans to become excited about as they prepare for a new college athletics landscape in 2024.
Alongside the non-conference matchup, the Hurricanes will have new conference opponents in SMU, Stanford, and Cal who are all joining the ACC in 2024.
Last season, Miami finished with a 15-17 overall record and on a ten-game losing streak. Larrañaga is hoping to turn his fortunes with the Canes back around during the 2024-25 season.
