In their superdog segment on ESPN College Gameday on Saturday lead analyst Kirk Herbrstreit took South Florida minus 17 in their odds. Miami enters the game on Saturday at South Florida 2-1 versus the point spread this season. Miami covered at Florida and versus Ball State, but not against Florida A&M.
South Florida covered as a favorite versus Bethune-Cookman and at Southern Mississippi. South South Florida lost 42-16 as a 30.5-point underdog at Alabama. The Crimson Tide scored 21 points in the game's final six minutes to turn the margin into a blowout.
FanDuel lists Miami as minus 900 and South Florida as plus 590 on the money line. The over/under for Miami at South Florida is minus 64.5. All three Miami games reached the over this season. The under came in the first two South Florida games and the over was reached last week versus Southern Mississippi.
Herbstreit will be with Miami resident Chris Fowler and sideline reporter Holly Rowe on the Tennessee at Oklahoma game on ABC with a 7:30 Eastern Time kickoff. Bob Wischusen will call play-by-play, Louis Riddick is the analyst and Kris Budden is the sideline reporter for Miami at South Florida with a 7:00 PM kickoff.

The ESPN Football Power Index projects Miami with an 85.4 percent chance of defeating South Florida. Miami is favored in every remaining game this season per the FPI. South Florida should be one of the contenders in the American Athletic Conference following realignment.
If Louisville and Miami keep winning, Fowler, Herbstreit and Rowe could be on the call for the Hurricanes at the Cardinals on October 19. Louisville is 2-0 after a bye last week. Georgia Tech plays at Louisville on Saturday afternoon. Louisville also plays Notre Dame, SMU and Virginia before Miami.
