Miami will bring a 3-0 record to play 2-1 South Florida on Saturday night in Tampa.

Miami concludes non-conference play on Saturday at South Florida. The Hurricanes are 3-0 and the Bulls have started 2-1 this season. Miami has wins over Florida, Florida A&M an Ball State. South Florida has wins over Southern Mississippi and Bethune-Cookman with a loss at Alabama in between.

Miami enters their game at South Florida third nationally with an average margin of victory of 43 points. South Florida trailed Alabama 21-16 with six minutes left in the fourth quarter before the Crimson Tide scored 21 points in a 4:13 span for a 41-16 victory in Tuscaloosa.

South Florida played Alabama tough in 2023 before losing 17-3 at Raymond James Stadium. The upper deck which is not normally used will be open on Saturday. A record 13,179 student tickets have been issued by South Florida with Miami in town. South Florida stated they will open the West Deck to increase capacity to 55,000.

Number eight Miami at South Florida is scheduled to kickoff at 7 PM Eastern Daylight Time on ESPN and will be called by Bob Wischusen on play-by-play, Louis Riddick as the analyst and Kris Budden as the field reporter. Saturday is the first of at least two consecutive Miami games on ESPN.

FanDuel lists Miami as a 16.5-point favorite. Miami is minus 780 on the moneyline and South Florida is plus 530. The Over/Under is set at 65.5 The over is minus 105 and the under is minus 115. Miami is 2-1 versus the spread this season and South Florida is 3-0. All three Miami games and one South Florida game have passed the over.

Mario Cristobal told the Joe Rose Show on WQAM on Monday he expects offensive lineman Anez Cooper and Jalen Rivers healthy versus South Florida. Cooper was injured versus Ball State on Saturday. Rivers missed the Ball State and Florida A&M games with an injury.

Cornerback Damari Brown, defensive lineman Rueben Bain and offensive lineman Ryan Rodriguez are expected to remain out for Miami versus South Florida. Miami is relatively healthy among its other key players. Running back K'wan Powell is the only player listed on the injury report for South Florida by Covers.Com.

The forecast for Tampa on Saturday night is 73° with a nine percent chance of rain, winds will be out of the Northeast at rive to 10 miles per game. Saturday night is forecast for mostly clear skies with humidity at 81 percent per The Weather Channel.
