Miami basketball All-Time ACC Tournament history

The Miami basketball team is playing in its 20th ACC Tournament in 2024 with a slightly better than .500 record all-time.

The Miami basketball team enters its 20th ACC Tournament on Tuesday night versus Boston College. Miami is 19-18 All-Time in the ACC Tournament. The Hurricanes have a 9-2 record All-Time in the first round and 2-1 record versus Boston College in the ACC Tournament.

Miami had a memorable win over Boston College in the 2022 ACC Tournament that ended with a Jordan Miller buzzer beating layup off the fast break in the quartefinals. That was the last time Boston College and Miami played in the ACC Tournament.

Boston College beat Miami 74-71 in overtime in the 2007 quarterfinals in their first ACC Tournament meeting. Miami won their other ACC Tournament game 69-58 versus Boston College in the quarterfinals in 2013. The Hurricanes went on to win their only ACC Tournament title in 2013.

Miami has played in the second round or farther of every ACC Tournament since the conference expanded to 14 teams in 2014. The Hurricanes have won an ACC Tournament game in each of the last three seasons. Miami has played in 24 ACC Tournament games decided by nine points or less and eight that were one-possession games.

Miami is 4-4 in one-possession games all-time in the ACC Tournament and has played in three contests that were decided on the final possession. The Hurricanes have won at least one ACC Tournament game in 14 out of 19 appearances. The 2018 and 2020 ACC Tournaments were the only years Miami didn't win a game under Jim Larranga.
