Miami basketball All-Time ACC Tournament history

The Miami basketball team is playing in its 20th ACC Tournament in 2024 with a slightly better than .500 record all-time.

The 2005 and 2009 ACC Tournaments were the other years Miami did not win an ACC Tournament game. Miami is 13-11 in the ACC Tournament under Larranaga. The Hurricanes have advanced to the ACC Tournament Semifinals five times, with four appearances under Larranaga.

Miami has reached the ACC Tournament semifinals in each of the last two years. With double byes to the quarterfinals, Miami only had to win one game to reach the ACC Tournament semifinals in 2022 and 2023. The Hurricanes have to win three games to reach the 2024 ACC Tournament Semifinals.

Miami won two games in the 2010 ACC Tournament under Frank Haith to reach the semifinals. That was when the ACC Tournament had four rounds. Miami is 3-3 in the ACC Tournament in the second round, 5-8 in the quarterfinals and 1-4 in the Semifinals. Miami has played every ACC team except Louisville in the ACC Tournament.

Duke, Florida State and Notre Dame are the only teams Miami has not defeated in the ACC Tournament it has played. Miami lost all four ACC Tournament meetings to Duke. That includes semifinal losses in 2022 and 2023. Florida State and Notre Dame are 1-0 versus Miami in the ACC Tournament.
