Miami basketball All-Time ACC Tournament history

The Miami basketball team is playing in its 20th ACC Tournament in 2024 with a slightly better than .500 record all-time.

Maryland (now in the Big 10), Pittsburgh and Syracuse are the only teams Miami has played in the ACC Tournament it has not lost to. The Hurricanes are 1-0 versus the Terrapins, Panthers and Fighting Irish. Miami has never defeated either of the top two seeds in ACC Tournament history.

Miami has lost all five games it played in the ACC Tournament to the top seed and is 0-1 versus the second seed. The Hurricanes are 9-1 all-time versus teams seeded nine through 15. Miami's only ACC Tournament loss to a team seeded nine or lower was 66-65 to 11th-seed Virginia in their first appearance in 2005.

Miami is 9-9 All-time in the ACC Tournament seeded ninth or lower. The Hurricanes have been the most successful as a one-seed. Miami went 3-0 in 2013 to win the ACC Tournament as a one seed and were 1-1 in 2023 after winning the ACC Regular Season Championship. Miami's four wins against the fifth seed are the most in the ACC Tournament.

Miami is 1-1 All-Time versus the 11 seed in the ACC Tournament. Boston College is the 11th seed in 2024. Miami lost to 11th-seeded Virginia in 2005 and beat Georgia Tech, the 11th seed in 2012. The Hurricanes are 2-4 All-Time versus the sixth seed. If Miami wins on Tuesday they will play sixth-seeded Clemson.
