The Miami basketball team has a big chance for a quadrant one road win at Virginia on Monday night. Miami enters the game in Charlottesville with wins in three of its last four games. Virginia enters the game on Monday night as the hottest team in the ACC, with six straight wins.

Miami beat Virginia 66-64 in Coral Gables last season. The Hurricanes win over the Cavaliers was critical in their run to the ACC regular season co-championship with Virginia. Virginia is currently 17-5 overall and at 8-3 in the ACC, two games behind North Carolina in the conference standings.

Miami struggled on Saturday until a late 15-2 run sealed the win over Virginia Tech. Miami needs to have a more consistent effort throughout the game at Virginia. The Cavaliers and Hokies both play the pack line defense. Once Miami moved the ball and didn't dribble as much versus Virginia Tech, the offense exploded in the second half.
