The Miami basketball team will host Stonehill for the first meeting between the two programs. Stonehill is in its second year in Division I. Stonehill finished 14-17 in their first season of Division I in 2022-23. The Skyhawks are struggling this season with a 2-11 record heading into their game with the Hurricanes on Thursday.

Miami beat La Salle 84-77 in its most recent game on Saturday. Stonehill is the penultimate non-conference game for Miami in the 2023-24 season. Miami hosts North Florida on December 29 in the final non-conference game of 2023-24. Stonehill is one of the worst teams in Division I. The Skyhawks are 353rd in the NCAA Netratings.
