The Miami basketball program will be without guard Nijel Pack on Saturday at Boston College, per Hurricanes' announcer Joe Zagacki on the pregame show. Guard Wooga Poplar will be playing injured after missing practice on Friday. Pack was scoreless in the 77-60 Miami loss at Clemson on Wednesday.

With Pack sidelined, junior Bensley Joseph will start with Poplar at guard. Wing Kyshawn George, who recently missed games, will play on Saturday. The injury to Pack is another game this season Miami will not be at full strength. Pack previously missed two games with an injury in December.

All five Miami starters have missed games this season. Dealing with a knee injury, Pack averaged 9.0 points per game, shot 12-47 from the floor and 4-22 on three-point attempts over the last four games. Miami will need a good scoring game from Poplar with Pack out versus Boston College.

Poplar has scored in double figures in each of his last two games. George had a good game versus Clemson with 13 points, five rebounds and six assists. George missed the previous game versus North Carolina after leaving the game at Virginia three minutes in against the Cavaliers.

Miami basically used a six-man rotation versus Clemson. The Hurricanes are going to have to go deeper versus Boston College. Jakai Robinson played only 1:46 as the backup wing off the bench. Center Michael Nwoko played 5:27 versus Clemson. Miami could elected to use Nwoko in a bigger lineup with the 6'8 George in the backcourt.

Freshman Paul Djobet and sophomore Christian Watson are other possibilities for Miami off the bench on the wing. Per Jim Larranaga on the pregame show with Zagacki, Djobet is the likely player off the bench to see an increase in playing time at Boston College. Miami and BC tipoff at 4 PM Eastern time.
