Miami football at Florida projected top 10 2024 most watched games
Pete Nakos of On3 picked the Miami football team at Florida in "Predicting the top 10 most watched games of the college football season" posted on Sunday. Miami and Florida are playing for the first time since 2019. The Hurricanes and Gators will play for the first time at one of the teams' home stadiums since 2013.
Florida and Miami have both struggled in their first two seasons under Billy Napier and Mario Cristobal. Napier is 11-14 with Florida and Cristobal is 12-13 with Miami. The outcome between Miami and Florida will almost definitely cause on overreaction for both teams.
Florida was 5-7 in 2023 and Miami was 7-6. Miami will be the season ranked 19th in the AP Top 25 and USA Today Coaches' poll. The expectations for Miami are much higher in 2024. Florida has a gauntlet in November with five games versus top 13 teams in the preseason polls.
Miami at Florida is one of the marquee games of week one. Other marquee games to begin week one are Clemson at Georgia, Penn State at West Virginia and USC and LSU. Miami can set the tone for the rest of the season with a win at Florida. A loss will provide critics of Cristobal more reason to doubt him.

Martinez and Ward should provide Miami with the majority of the total offensive numbers in 2024.
